Description:
Total number of dorsal spines is 4 – 5 and there are 13-14 dorsal soft rays, along with 12 – 15 anal soft rays. Body is of a yellowish-brown color without distinct color markings. The posterior nostril is a slit-like pore and there is one basipterygial process. The anterodorsal area between both lateral lines is entirely covered in scales and the posterior nostril is also a slit-like pore. The overall color of the body is yellowish-brown, while the pectoral and caudal fins exhibit an orangish-brown shade.
