Description:
The upper edge of the opercle descends backward. The supracleithrum has only one spine dorsally. Both nasal valves are long and tubular. There are two basipterygial processes, and a short black cirrus is present on the eye. The respiratory valve inside the lower jaw has a thread-like, pale appendage. In terms of color, the body is brown above with fine mottling and stippling in dark brown. The pectoral and caudal fins are orange or yellowish-brown.
