The prostomium is cone-shaped. The dental plates typically have 4 to 5 teeth, and the maxillary supports are usually elongated and kite-shaped. The front feet have a short and rounded front lobe, while the rear lobe is longer and has a blunt conical shape. The posterior feet are longer but share similar characteristics. Winged capillaries can be found up to the 60th foot. Simple hooks with elongated heads start appearing around the fourth foot and continue throughout the rest of the body. The acicula are yellow in color.
