Description:
The body has a robust and cylindrical shape. The front part of the body, known as the prostomium, is divided into two lobes and features slender antennae and stout palps. Right in front of the prostomium, there is a sizable oval facial protrusion. The tentacular cirri are lengthy and have closely spaced rings. The proboscis has one sturdy, needle-shaped dorsal tooth and a finer, smaller ventral tooth. Capillaries on the notopodia start to appear around the fourth or fifth setiger, and they have serrated edges at their distal ends.
