Description:
Colonies exhibit a columnar structure with a potential diameter of several meters. Corallites are situated within shallow valleys while columellae are dense and extend to the height of the inner septal margins. Septo-costae typically display granulation with a noticeable granule near the valley wall. Tentacles are frequently extended during daylight hours. In terms of color, the colonies are consistently dark grey or brown.
