Description:
Colonies exhibit a columnar structure, extending to several meters in width. Corallites are situated in shallow valleys, while columellae are dense and extend to the height of the inner septal margins. Septo-costae typically display a granulated texture, with a noticeable granule near the valley wall. Tentacles are frequently extended in daylight. Coloration: Consistently dark grey or brown.
