Description:
A prominent ridge running from the beak to the posterior end. Hinge teeth is present. Outer surface of the shell without undulating brown stripes. It has small, solid, inflated shell. anterior end is not long, rounded and slightly elongated towards posterior. Shell surface sculptured by radial ribs and concentric lines. Colour: white to dark grey exterior; umbones are whitish, escutcheon and ligament color is reddish-brown. Umbonoventral keel sharply angulated.
