Description:
It has short stipe and fan-shaped blades. It is irregularly lobed or dissected with an erose-undulate margin and in some surface areas small excrescences. Thallus robust, tough. Cortex consists of of 3-4 layer of cells. Outer two layers of cells ovoid to rounded in shape. Holdfast discoid. epilithic. Color of plants is dark red.
