Description:
D1 100-110; P1 absent 7; P2 4; A 76-80. Body uniform brown towards ocular side, with a dark patch on gill cover, blind side white. Body flat and elongate,dorsal and anal fins confluent with caudal fin; both the eyes on left side of body, two lateral lines on eyed side, none on blind side; scales ctenoid on eyed side and cycloid on blind side.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
On muddy and sandy bottoms to depths
of about 125 m.
