Description:
They have no dorsal spines. Number of soft rays in the dorsal fin are zero. Anal spines and soft rays in the anal fin are not present. The coloration is a pale yellowish hue with clusters of dark brown spots, forming larger patterns in approximately four irregular rows along the body. In juveniles, the fin margins are white, gradually diminishing to the tail tip in adults. The vertebral count ranges from 127 to 135.
