Description:
The anus is positioned slightly ahead of the midpoint of the body. Jaws contain teeth with delicate serrations on both the front and rear edges which typically arranged in a single row in the maxillary region and 0–3 intermaxillary teeth. In terms of coloration, the body displays 15–20 bars behind the gill opening, more pronounced on the ventral half and partially concealed by spots on the dorsal half. Head and chin exhibit closely spaced brown spots that are separated by narrow pale interspaces, creating the appearance of horizontal lines particularly in the branchial region.
