The bell of Versuriga anadyomene is relatively flat and can extend up to 600 mm in width. The bell’s color is violet, and it has whitish oral arms. The exumbrella features a network of anastomosing furrows, while the arm-disk carries filaments. The perradial rhopalar canals are broad without anastomoses, but the interradial ones are narrow and exhibit numerous anastomoses. The oral arms are roughly as long as the disk radius, laterally strongly compressed, with numerous flat, membranous branches and club-shaped vesicles. The ventral side bears tapering filaments.
