Description:
The carapace of this species is triangular in cross-section, featuring an elevated dorsal ridge with a strong spine and smaller spines on ventral ridges. The body coloration ranges from light brown to yellowish grey, adorned with a brown network of hexagons and irregular blotches, often found on the sides. The dorsal, anal, and pectoral fins are pale, while the caudal fin tends to be dusky.
