Description:
Body moderately elongate, dark brown in color with indistinct black mottles and lines. Head depressed; lower jaw well protruding beyond upper jaw; small lappet over iris; gill opening extending well anteriorly to the preopercular margin. Paired fins dark gray in color; 3–4 white line on dorsal and anal fin. Pelvic fins united with frenum.
