Description:
Colonies form dense clusters, expanding to several meters in width. The boundary between verrucae and branches is blurred with a gradual transition between the two. In habitats with strong wave action, branches are robust and tightly compacted while in deep or sheltered environments, they are slender and open. The typical coloration includes shades of pale brown, greenish or pink.
