Description:
The calices are diminutive and not very deep, featuring densely packed septa that result in colonies having a sleek appearance. The colonies typically take on a submassive to encrusting form. In terms of color, they are generally pale brown or cream, occasionally displaying pale blue mouths. The polyps are equipped with brief, pointed tentacles that are frequently extended during daytime hours.
