Description:
The species typically attains a length of around 30 cm, with males reaching a maximum size of 50 cm. Adult individuals feature a silvery body marked with black spots, complemented by yellow lips and fins. The forehead of the head is characterized by a gray coloration. This species reproduces through oviparous means, and distinct pairing behavior is observed during the breeding period. In their juvenile stage, small individuals exhibit longitudinal black stripes.
