Description:
Shell of medium size, 39 mm length, and 31 mm height, thick, tumid and ovately elongate. Lunule indistinct. Anterior end narrowly rounded and the posterior end rounded and somewhat truncated. Umbones prominent, anteriorly placed and touching each other. Surface smooth, pale brown with concentric growth striae. Adductor scars almost of same size; anterior one elongate ending in a narrow tip, posterior one rounded and purple coloured.
