Description:
This fish, characterized by 9 dorsal spines, 9 dorsal soft rays, 2 anal spines, 7 anal soft rays, and 25 vertebrae, can be identified by certain features. These include a pelvic spine with a distinct serration on the anterior edge, 2 spines and 7 soft rays in the anal fin, 16 rays in the pectoral fin, and a small body size, measuring less than 10 cm. In terms of coloration, the body is blackish-brown dorsally and paler ventrally.
