Description:
The body of the fish is moderately elongate and compressed. The scales are large, weakly ciliated, and deciduous. Notably, there are two luminous organs that run longitudinally in the abdominal muscle, extending from the thorax to slightly beyond the anus. These luminous organs join each other at the anterior extremities.
