Description:
The upper body displays 8 dark V-shaped bars that intensify in color towards the lower part of each bar. There is a row of large dark brown spots along the lower side. The scales along the back have dark brown edges and pale centers. Additionally, there are two distinct oval black spots on the caudal-fin base, with the upper spot occasionally having an eye-like appearance (ocellated).
