Description:
Apex pointed; spire high, 6-8 nodules per whorl, suture shallow. Shoulder with slightly oblique nodules longer than wide. Shell ridge below suture; overall strong spiral threads. Aperture narrowly elongate, outer lip with a sharp edge; columellar lip almost straight; siphonal canal broad and shallow posterior notch small. Colour: exterior brown to reddish-brown; nodules, threads and aperture white or brown (Subba Rao, 2003).
