Description:
The rostrum is long and slender, with a ventral margin which has 2 to 6 teeth. There is a branchiostegal spine present, but there is no branchiostegal groove. The abdomen has all segments that are rounded on the top and they are not crinkled. The color of the crustacean is whitish translucent, with the distal part of the rostrum being dark reddish brown.

In Bangladesh, it is found in most of the coastal areas and river mouths
