Description:
Male has well-developed appendix interna at the endopod of the first pleopod. It is a thin, rod-like structure that is used to hold the female pleopods together during copulation. The absence of a groove in the branchioostegal and the lack of setae on the posterior portion of the anterior propodus of the fifth pereiopod are also characteristics of this species
