The rostrum is wide and short. The telson is armed only with small spines. In adult males, the distolateral projections of the petasma bifurcate distally. In females, the anterior and lateral plates of the thelycum are ovoid in shape and equal in size; the conjoined pads are usually set obliquely. The body is flesh-colored with grey dots.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Satkhira, Bagerhat, Khulna, Patuakhali, Sundarban, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf, and in the Bay of Bengal.
