Description:
Hairless body with a beak-like projection on the front of its head that has 5 to 8 teeth on the back. The rostral crest is high. In adult males, the fifth pereopod has a notch near the base, followed by a keel-shaped tubercle. The body is flesh-colored or white with light gray dots. The thoracic legs, swimmerets, and antennal scales are flesh-colored with ash dots.
