Description:
Shell medium, solid and thick, ovate with prominent pointed nodules. Spire moderately high, sculptured with nodules and fine spiral threads between them. Body whorl rather large, sculptured with 4 rows of spiral nodules, shoulder nodules much larger than others. Siphonal canal notched, thickened, spiny fasciole, consists of bands, – indicating the growth of the siphonal notch. Oval aperture and columella smooth; outer lip thick and strong with 7-8 teeth; inner lip bordered by a ridge. Colour: exterior creamy-grey to fawn or light brown, while interior and columella glossy white with yellow margin.
