Description:
It grows very slowly, can appear partially transparent, and is extremely thin (0.3 mm or 0.01 in thick). Uncalcified crust that clings firmly to rock is called thallus. Reproduction in Tetra sporangia is only known to occur in conceptacles and is characterized by uneven division. Reddish-pink or brownish-pink crusts.
