Description:
The shrimp has a long, slightly curved beak-like projection on its head, with 9 to 11 teeth on the back and 6 to 9 teeth on the belly. The second pair of legs are of different sizes. The shrimp is pink to red in color, with a very noticeable, round, dark spot on the back of the third abdominal segment.
