Description:
The fish is a blackish bannerfish distinguished by a prominent bony horn-like protrusion on its head. It exhibits two broad dark diagonal bands on either side of a diffuse whitish to greyish band along the body. Additionally, there is a white band located on the head behind the eye. The soft dorsal, caudal, and pectoral fins are yellow, while the anal fin is black.
