Description:
The colonies exhibit a submassive to encrusting growth pattern, featuring irregular corallites that are either monocentric and up to 10 millimeters in diameter or form short valleys. The walls of the corallites are sharp. Septa have moderately large teeth and paliform lobes are moderately developed. Columellae are sizable and spongy. The prevailing color is dark green.
