The carapace has a hexagonal shape, with a minutely granulated posterior and a tuberculated anterior. The palm’s exterior is smooth. The size and armature of helicopedes are uneven; merus has two sharp teeth on the anterodistal border and a denticulated ridge on the posterior margin. Carpus and palm of the larger chela are low and thinly tuberculated, whereas those of the smaller chela are acutely tuberculated and densely packed. Big chela with a wide opening when closed; dactylus tip bent beneath the tip of the immobile finger. Smooth, armed, and sporadically coated in setae, ambulatory legs have a merus that is longer than the carpus and propodus. Dactyli had pointed teeth at the end. The male thoracic sternum is tuberculated and minutely pubescent; the abdomen has seven segments. The first male pleopod is comparatively shorter than the second row of spinules on the inner border, which is a robust, tubular row.
