Description:
Shell very thin, fragile, inequivalve, almost rounded in shape; right valve larger than the left valve. Muscle scars well developed. Single adductor muscle scar smaller than the byssal retractor scars, muscle scars 3 in the left valve, crurum oblique. Colour: dark purple all through.
