Description:
The species has a dorsal fin with 8–10 spines and 20–22 soft rays, along with an anal fin featuring 3 spines and 16–19 rays. The coloration includes a silvery head and body, dusky yellow fins, and a darker distal portion in the dorsal and caudal fins. Additionally, there are 2 or 3 longitudinal rows of small dark spots on the soft dorsal fin.
