Description:
It has an elongated shape, is flattened from top to bottom, and narrows towards the back. There are four large black eyes, with the pairs on each side positioned closely together. The peristome lacks appendages and features four pairs of tentacular cirri, with the rear dorsal pair being the longest and the front ventral pair being the shortest. The proboscis has a pair of toothed jaws and numerous soft papillae on the maxillary ring. Each jaw has 12 teeth, with two located at each end, although they may not be very distinct. The first two parapodia are unbranched, while the rest are branched. The notopodia of the front parapodia have four lobes and a dorsal cirrus of about the same length. The neuropodium includes a single broad setigerous lobe and a ventral cirrus. Both homogomph spinigers and homogomph falcigers are present.
