Description:
Carapace strongly sculptured with grooves and granules, forming certain carapace regions. Medial regions well separated; deep grooves visible between posterior borders of 2M and 3M, and between 3M and 4M. Posterior regions, 1P and 3R, with distinctive grittiness. Outer surface of cheliped manus with comparatively larger tubercles, well separated from each other and prominent. Upper margins of meri of ambulatory legs with prominent teeth. Regarding the fifth pair, projections on the dorsal crest of meri distinctively nodule-shaped .
