The bell of Crambionella orsini is robust, substantial, and has a firm, cartilaginous texture. The color of the bell varies, ranging from chocolate and orange-brown to milky-yellow, featuring peripheral purple-brown blotches. The oral arms are approximately the same length as the bell radius, with a short proximal portion that is one-third the length of the distal three-winged segment. The distal three-winged portion is sizable and prismatic, ending with a short gelatinous, pyramidal, bluntly pointed, three-cornered knob. The extra-circular canal system contains several radial vessels.
