Description:
It has a transparent body with a very short rostrum. The telson of the female shrimp is rounded or truncated at the apex. Third thoracic sternite is produced posteriorly (extended backwards). The genital coxa is rounded at the anterior margin in males.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Chittagong, Khulna, Patuakhali, Estuary of the Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal.
