Description:
The dorsal and anal fins as well as the tail, are dark and pointed. Young individuals exhibit a scissor-tail. This damselfish is characterized by its pale bluish-green color, featuring 5 slender dark grey bars on the sides, along with blackish markings on the spinous dorsal, most of the soft dorsal and anal fins, and the caudal fin. Additionally, there is a small black spot at the base of the pectoral fin.
