Kingdom: Animalia

Description:
The carapace is subquadrate, weakly arched dorsally, and 1.2 times wider than long. The surface of the carapace is equally covered in tiny granules. The anterior portion of the carapace has a dramatic decrease in both anterior and posterior width, and its lateral borders are convex in this region. The cornea was not enlarged and extended on half of the eyestalk, nor did the eyestalks reach distally beyond the cornea. Both sexes have unequally sized chelipeds; the palm of the main chelae has no stridulating ridge on its inner surface, and the palm is 1.2 times longer than the dactylus. Male chelae have a comparatively narrower basal of immovable fingers than female chelae; it is slender and tips slightly upward. The third maxilliped merus and ischium are comparatively wider; the exopod’s distal end extends to the middle of the ischium base. The distal portion of the male first pleopod is somewhat outcurved, with short hair covering both its inner and outer edges. The dorsal edge of the second propodus and the central portion of the anterior margin of the first propodus of the walking legs are covered by a short hair row. Setae were seen on more than half of the anterior side of the dactylus of the third and fourth walking legs and the anterior and posterior edges of the dactylus of the first and second walking legs.
