Description:
The carapace is wider than long, convex, smooth, and poorly defined, with striations in the mesogastric, protogastric, and gastric regions. The anterolateral margin has six sharp triangular teeth, and the front has eight slightly depressed serrated teeth. The third maxilliped has a quadrate merus, smooth and serrated with setae on the inner margin. Chelipeds are equal in size and armature; meri have three broad spines, carpi have one pointed spine and three blunt teeth, and the palm has three sharp spines with two ridges. The dactylus has a curved tip forming the underside of the immovable finger. Ambulatory legs are long and slender; the fifth pereopod has the longest merus and one posterior spine. Carpi of pereopods are smooth; the second pereopod has feathery setae on the propodus margin. Dactyli of all pereopods bear setae and end with sharp spines; the fifth has oval-shaped dactyli. The abdomen is triangular, smooth, and covered with small pits. The first male pleopod is long with a curved lateral side and pointed tip, with setae along the inner margin and sparse serrated setae on the outer margin.
