Description:
The anterior dorsal regions of the crab’s carapace have relatively dense, short, black setae.. The outer surface of the adult chela is covered with large, flattened granules, and those on the margins are large and sharp. The margins of the ambulatory segments (walking legs) have dense, short setae. The male pleon is relatively transversely narrower .The carapace is relatively dark, and the gastric regions are almost black.
