Description:
Soft, gelatinous, pinkish red, many-branched, thickly matted fronds up to 100 mm in height with blunt apices. Axes segmented, filled with a watery mucilage, with segments roughly equal in width and length with nodal diaphragms. Reddish-pink in hue.
