Description:
Body is translucent, with a yellowish-white or greyish-green color. It is covered with numerous small, light brown dots. The legs are also translucent, and they are somewhat whitish or reddish in color. The rostrum is slightly curved at the tip and it has 7-8 dorsal teeth and 4-6 ventral teeth. The telson does not have any lateral spines.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Coastal area of the Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh- Bagherhat, Charchapli, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Dublar Char, Khepupara, Khulna,Patuakhali, Satkhira and the Sundarbans.
