Description:
The bell of Lychnorhiza malayensis can attain a width of up to 100 mm. The exumbrella is partially smooth and partially features an irregular network of nematocysts. There are four blind centripetal canals situated between the adjacent radial canals. The oral arms are approximately the same length as the disc diameter and lack any appendages. Each octant is characterized by eight pointed velar lappets.
