The crab’s carapace is mottled black and brown, and its body is brown with numerous blackish spots. The carapace is rounded and quadrangular. The chelipeds are symmetrical, meaning they are the same on both sides. The wrist of the cheliped has a spiniform tooth at its inner angle, which may have one or two accessory spinules
