Description:
The shell is small, solid, compressed, and rounded-trigonal. It has strong, smooth concentric ridges with narrow, deep grooves between them. The ridges are sculptured by angularly zigzag concentric lines. The edge of the outer margin bears fine teeth-like projections. The color of the shell is creamy, with small, purplish-brown blotches arranged in a zigzag pattern. The interior of the shell is white with pale purple below the umbonium cavity.
