Description:
The shell is thin, ovately cordate and inflated. It is short at the anterior end and elongate at the posterior end. The umbones are not very prominent. The exterior of the shell is sculptured with irregular, concentric, wrinkle striae, which are lines that run concentrically around the shell. The color of the shell is white, with a faint rust tint.
