Description:
The shell is large, thick, oval, equivalve, and rounded-quadrate. The lunule and escutcheon are well developed. The hinge has 3 cardinal teeth. The left valve has a small anterior lateral tooth. Pallial sinus is well-developed pointing forward well beyond the posterior adductor scar. The internal margins are finely crenulated. The outer margin is thick and rounded. The color of the exterior is greyish-white, and the interior is whitish.
