The shell is solid, rather thick, compressed, and ovate. The umbones are curved and pointed. The exterior of the shell has concentric striae, which are lines that run concentrically around the shell. Lunule is moderately large and superficial. The ligament is small. The color of the shell is creamy-white to rusty-brown.
